Monark Glass is worth buying if you want a mid-priced rig or quartz banger with solid borosilicate, clean welds and a few designs you don't see from every other brand, like incyclers and full weld terp slurpers. Our in-stock Monark lineup runs from a $28.99 ash catcher to a $111.99 incycler, and every Monark rig ships with a free 14mm quartz banger.

Quick answer: Monark Glass makes solid mid-range rigs, bangers and Puffco attachments, priced about $29 to $112 in stock now. Start with the 9" Reclaim Rig ($103.99) or a full weld terp slurper set ($34.99).

The harder question is which Monark piece fits what you actually do. The catalog mixes small daily-driver rigs, showpiece incyclers, quartz, and glass tops for the Puffco Peak, and the names (incycler, zongcycler, fab egg, gavel bucket) don't tell a new buyer much. Below is the lineup we carry, what each design does, the real prices and joint sizes, and the tradeoffs worth knowing before you order. You can see everything in one place in our Monark collection.

What Monark Glass is known for

Think of Monark as the brand that sits between bargain glass and heady art glass. You are not paying for a signature artist, but you are getting borosilicate that feels substantial, frosted joints that seat without wobble, and function-first designs like incyclers and full weld quartz.

Three things show up across the whole Monark range:

  • Cycling water designs. Monark's catalog leans hard on incyclers and recyclers, from a 10" Seed of Life incycler up to an 18" piece sold as the world's largest functioning incycler.
  • Full weld quartz. Their gavel buckets and terp slurpers are welded into one continuous piece of quartz, so there is no seam between the joint and the bucket to trap heat or crack.
  • Color accents, not full color. Most pieces are clear glass with colored lips, joints or rings. That keeps the price down and keeps the working parts easy to see when you clean them.

Monark rigs: incyclers vs recyclers vs a reclaim rig

All three cycle or catch water in a way a basic straight rig does not, but they behave differently day to day.

Piece Height Joint Price Best for
9" Color Accent Reclaim Rig 9 in (229mm) 14mm, 90° $103.99 Daily dabs, catching reclaim
10" Seed of Life Incycler 10 in 14mm female $111.99 Smooth, splash-resistant hits
11" Color Accent Pillar Incycler (one off) 11 in 14mm female $88.95 A showpiece incycler under $90

Every rig above ships with a free 14mm quartz banger, so you can dab the day it arrives.

Monark incyclers: the cycle stays inside

A recycler moves water through an external loop of glass. An incycler keeps that cycle inside one main chamber. Picture the difference between water running through an outside pipe and water swirling inside a jar: the effect on the vapor is similar, but the incycler has less exposed glass to clean, fewer thin uptakes to clog, and it is more forgiving about exactly how much water you put in.

The tradeoff is drama. An external recycler loop is fun to watch and moves a little more water per pull. If you want the show, look at our wider recyclers collection. If you want something that just works, the incycler is the easier piece to live with.

The 10" Monark Seed of Life Incycler comes in red or pink, and the 11" Pillar Incycler is a single one-off piece at $88.95, which makes it the lowest-priced way into a Monark cycling rig right now.

The 9" Monark Reclaim Rig: the practical pick

The 9" Color Accent Reclaim Rig is the one we would point most people to first. It is 229mm tall, uses a fixed two-hole perc, and has a built-in reclaim function that collects the oil that would otherwise coat the inside of the rig. At 9 inches it is big enough to feel stable on a table and small enough to clean in a sink. It comes in red, green or blue.

If you are new to reclaim, our guide to collecting and storing dab rig reclaim covers what to do with it once it builds up.

Monark quartz bangers and terp slurpers

This is where Monark gives you the most for the money. Quartz quality is the part of a setup you feel on every dab, and the full weld pieces are priced close to generic bangers.

Quartz piece Joint Price What it does
Monark Quartz Banger 14mm male, 45° or 90° $29.99 Standard bucket, frosted joint
Full Weld Opaque Bottom Gavel Bucket 14mm male, 90° $34.99 Opaque base holds heat longer
Full Weld Terp Slurper Banger Set 10mm male 45° or 14mm male 90° $34.99 Banger, marble cap and pillar
Full Weld Terp Slurper Set, Cactus (one off) 14mm male, 90° $54.99 Same kit with a cactus marble
Color Ribbon Slurper Set with Opal 14mm male, 90° $69.99 Slurper, opal ribbon cap, ribbon pillar

Why full weld matters

A traditional banger is built from separate pieces of quartz joined together. A full weld piece is fused into one continuous body. Seams are where heat gets uneven and where cracks usually start after hundreds of heat cycles, so removing them is a real durability gain, not just a spec sheet line.

The opaque bottom on the gavel bucket does a second job: the frosted base holds heat after the torch comes off, which helps if you like lower-temperature dabs and want a slower, more even melt. The tradeoff is that an opaque bottom takes a little longer to heat up and to cool down than a clear-bottom bucket, so adjust your timing rather than copying what worked on your old banger.

Terp slurpers: complete sets save you a headache

The usual problem with slurpers is buying the parts separately and finding the marble does not seat or the pillar is the wrong size. The Monark sets come boxed with the banger, the cap and the pillar sized to each other. The $34.99 Full Weld Terp Slurper Banger Set is the best value in the whole Monark line. The $69.99 Color Ribbon set is the one to buy if you want the worked ribbon glass on the cap and pillar to match.

If you have never run a slurper, read our terp slurper guide for heat-up timing and marble setup before your first dab. For non-Monark options and other bucket styles, browse all quartz bangers.

Check your joint before you order

Every Monark banger above is a male joint, so it fits a rig with a female joint. Size has to match too: a 10mm banger will not fit a 14mm rig without an adapter. Both Monark incyclers in the table above use a 14mm female joint, so any of the 14mm male bangers fit them directly.

Monark attachments for the Puffco Peak

Monark also makes glass tops for flameless e-rigs, which is a good way to get Monark function without a torch.

  • Monark Side Car Matrix Attachment ($89.99). Fits the Puffco Peak and Peak Pro using the stock base seal. The water sits in a side chamber instead of straight under the atomizer, which cuts splash-back, and a horizontal matrix perc smooths the hit. Purple, amber or blue.
  • Monark Flameless Vape Color Drylock ($79.99). A dry attachment with no water at all. Vapor goes straight from the chamber to the mouthpiece. It suits desk sessions where a water piece is a spill waiting to happen. Blue, green or black.

The honest tradeoff: a drylock gives you the purest flavor and zero water to change, but the hit is hotter and harsher than through the Side Car's water. If you dab at higher temperatures, the Side Car is the more comfortable choice. Our Puffco accessories guide compares these with other Peak glass, and the Puffco collection has the devices themselves.

Monark bongs and ash catchers

If you searched for Monark bongs, here is the straight answer: most of the Monark beakers and straight tubes we list, including the 8" Color Lip Bent Neck Beaker ($49.99), the 7" Sherlock Bubbler ($29.99) and the tie-dye decal beakers, are sold out as we write this. The flower piece that is in stock is the accessory most bongs benefit from anyway.

The 5" Monark Color Showerhead Ash Catcher is $28.99, has a 14mm male joint in a 45° or 90° angle, and comes in green, blue or purple. It catches ash before it reaches your bong water and adds one more stage of showerhead diffusion. Match the angle to your bong: 45° for a bong with an angled joint, 90° for a straight upright joint. If you are not sure you need one, Ash Catchers 101 walks through sizing and fit, and we stock other styles in ash catchers.

How Monark prices compare to the rest of our glass

Context helps here, because "mid-range" means little without numbers. Across the quartz bangers we have in stock right now, prices run from $7.42 to $69.99, with a median of $29.99. The basic Monark Quartz Banger sits right at that median. The Monark full weld pieces ($34.99 and $54.99) are a few dollars above it, and they are currently the only full weld bangers we have in stock from any brand. That is the clearest value case in the line: you pay roughly five dollars over an ordinary banger for construction that usually costs a lot more.

Rigs tell a similar story. Our in-stock recyclers range from $34.99 to $1,149.95, with a median of $76.49. The Monark incyclers at $88.95 and $111.99 land just above the middle, well below the art-glass end of the range. You are paying a little more than entry-level glass for better function, not a lot more for a name.

One-off and sold-out Monark pieces

A "one off" listing means the exact piece in the photos is the one that ships, and when it sells, that listing is done. The 11" Pillar Incycler and the Cactus slurper set are both one-offs. Restocks on the regular Monark lineup happen, but we cannot promise a date for any specific color or size, so if a one-off is the piece you want, waiting is a gamble.

Caring for Monark glass and quartz

Good glass lasts years if you avoid the two things that kill it: buildup and sudden temperature changes.

Cleaning an incycler or reclaim rig

Incyclers are easier to clean than external recyclers, but the internal chamber still collects residue. Pour out the water after each session, then do a full clean every week or two with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt. Cap the openings, shake gently so the salt scrubs the inner walls, and rinse with warm water, never hot. Change the water daily on any rig you use daily. Stale water is where most bad taste comes from, long before the glass itself is dirty.

On the reclaim rig, collect the reclaim before you clean, not after. Alcohol dissolves it, and then it is gone.

Cleaning full weld quartz

Swab the bucket with a cotton swab while it is still warm, right after the dab. That one habit keeps quartz clear longer than any deep clean. When it needs more, let it cool completely, then soak it in isopropyl alcohol. Never drop hot quartz into cold liquid. Full weld construction removes the seam, but no quartz survives that kind of thermal shock. Our guide to cleaning dab tools, rigs and pads safely covers the full routine.

Which Monark piece should you buy?

  • First real rig, under about $105: 9" Color Accent Reclaim Rig ($103.99), free banger included.
  • Smoothest hit for the money: 11" Pillar Incycler ($88.95) while the one-off lasts, otherwise the 10" Seed of Life ($111.99).
  • Upgrade the rig you already own: Full Weld Terp Slurper Banger Set ($34.99), or the Opaque Bottom Gavel Bucket ($34.99) if you prefer a classic bucket.
  • Puffco Peak owner: Side Car Matrix ($89.99) for smoother hits, Drylock ($79.99) for flavor and no water.
  • Flower smoker: the Showerhead Ash Catcher ($28.99) to keep your bong water cleaner.

Monark Glass FAQ

Is Monark Glass good quality?

For the price, yes. Monark uses solid borosilicate for its rigs and solid quartz for its bangers, with frosted joints and full weld construction on its premium quartz. It is production glass, not one-of-a-kind art glass, so expect consistent function rather than a signed piece.

What is a Monark incycler?

An incycler is a rig that cycles water inside one main chamber instead of through an external loop like a recycler. You get smooth, splash-resistant hits with less exposed glass to clean and less sensitivity to water level.

Do Monark rigs come with a banger?

Yes. Every Monark rig we carry ships with a free 14mm quartz banger, so it is ready to use out of the box.

Will a Monark banger fit my rig?

The Monark bangers listed here are 14mm male (and one 10mm male option), so they fit rigs with a matching female joint. Check both the size and the gender of your rig's joint before ordering.

Does Monark make bongs?

Yes. Monark makes beakers, straight tubes and bubblers for flower as well as dab rigs, including bent neck and tie-dye decal beakers and a 7" Sherlock bubbler. Most of those are sold out with us at the moment, while the rigs, quartz and Peak attachments are in stock. The Showerhead Ash Catcher fits most 14mm female bong joints in the meantime.

Are Monark terp slurpers worth it over a regular banger?

If you like low-temperature dabs and want to try a slurper, yes. The full weld set costs $34.99, five dollars more than the basic Monark banger, and it includes the marble cap and pillar you would otherwise buy separately.
