Care and maintenance

Rinse after each session. Once a week, empty it, add isopropyl and a scoop of coarse salt, cap the openings with your palms, and shake gently so the salt scours the inside. Rinse until the water runs clear and the smell is gone, then let it air dry upside down on a towel.

Warning: Never pour boiling water into cold glass and never run this through a dishwasher. Sudden temperature swings crack glass, and a cracked water pipe is done. Set it away from the edge of the counter while it dries, too, because most broken pipes are dropped, not smoked to death.
