Sold Out
Somebody comes into a shop, looks along the shelf, and stops at the one that is a little astronaut. That happens with this piece more than most. It is 7 inches of glass, 0.443 kilograms in the box, sold under the Oil Slick Pad name, and made for flower. Right now we do not have any. The page stays up so you can put yourself on the restock list.
A 7 inch glass character water pipe shaped as an astronaut. One version, Oil Slick Pad branded, awaiting restock.
Seven inches is a useful number. Tall enough that the smoke has somewhere to go and cool on the way, short enough that the piece still lives on a normal shelf without being the tallest thing there. Most of the questions we get about height end up landing in this range.
What separates a good figure piece from a bad one is whether the sculpting stole space from the chamber. At 0.443 kilograms this one carries enough material to hold a proper water volume, which is not always the case when a maker prioritises the silhouette.
A height people keep coming back to. 7 inches sits between the warm-running compact pieces and the ones that need dedicated storage.
Weight that stays put. 0.443 kilograms is enough mass to resist a knock without being awkward to lift.
Our own branding. Sold under the Oil Slick Pad name, so restocks come back as the same piece.
Glass, which is the point for flower. No carried-over flavors, and a clear view of the water and the buildup.
A figure that stands on its own. Sitting on a shelf, it reads as a small sculpture rather than as equipment.

The astronaut is a glass water pipe standing 7 inches tall with a shipping weight of 0.443 kilograms, branded Oil Slick Pad and built for flower. It is part of our character pipe family and there is only one version of it. Our inventory is currently at zero, so it is not orderable today.
Cold water, poured to just cover the downstem opening. Test with a dry pull before you pack anything. A 7 inch chamber gives you a bit more forgiveness than a small piece, but not much, and pulling water into your mouth ruins a session fast.
The typical use is unremarkable and that is the point: at home, seated, one or two people, the piece going back on the shelf afterward. It is not a travel piece and we would not pretend otherwise.
Pro Tip: When it does come back in stock, clean it once before first use even though it is new. Glass picks up dust and packing residue in transit, and a rinse with warm water and a little dish soap takes thirty seconds and makes the first bowl taste like flower rather than cardboard.
Shelf-piece buyers. People who want the thing they own to look good sitting out.
Mid-height users. If short runs too warm and tall is too much furniture, 7 inches is the answer.
Gift shoppers. An astronaut is an easy thing to buy for somebody else.
People who wait for the right one. This is a restock-alert purchase, not an impulse buy.
Not right now. Our inventory on this piece reads zero, so checkout is closed on it. Use the restock alert on this page and you will get a message when units are actually in our hands. We do not open orders on stock that has not physically arrived.
It measures 7 inches. That is the only length figure we publish for it, so ignore any base width or chamber size quoted elsewhere. For storage, 7 inches upright fits under nearly every kitchen and bathroom cabinet shelf with room to spare above it.
The shipping weight is 0.443 kilograms. That is solid without being heavy, which is roughly what you want in a piece that spends its life on a table. It has enough mass to stay upright if somebody brushes past, and it lifts comfortably in one hand.
Glass, and that is all our records state. We will not describe a thickness, a grade or a heat rating we cannot back up with data. What glass gives you is a taste-neutral chamber and a clear view of the water level, which matters every single time you fill it.
It is listed under the Oil Slick Pad brand, which is our own name. That is the extent of the manufacturing detail we publish. The practical upside is that when this piece is restocked, it returns as the same design rather than a similar shape from a different source.
Its listed use is flower smoking, and that is the only use we will stand behind here. We do not publish joint compatibility or heat tolerance details for this piece, so adapting it is not something we can recommend. For concentrates, look at our dab rig range instead.
There is one version of this piece with no color options, and we have no other finishes listed for it. If a different variation ever arrives it would appear as its own listing rather than as an option here. The restock alert covers this exact version only.
Empty and rinse after each session. Once a week, run isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt through the chamber with the openings plugged, then rinse until the alcohol smell is completely gone. Dry it upside down before storing.
Pay attention to the neck, where a sculpted piece tends to collect buildup out of sight. A soft brush is enough; nothing stiff.
Warning: Never subject this piece to a fast temperature change. Boiling water in a cold chamber, or a cold rinse on warm glass, makes the wall expand unevenly and crack. Dishwashers do exactly that, plus knock the piece against other items, so keep it out of them.
Discreet shipping in plain packaging. 30-day returns on unused items. Card payments processed securely; we never store your card details.
