Care and Maintenance
Dump the water after every session so reclaim doesn't set up in the joint. Every week or so, plug the joint and mouthpiece, pour in isopropyl alcohol with a spoonful of coarse salt, and shake for a minute. Rinse well with warm water and let it dry upside down. Keep the banger clean too: a cotton swab dipped in alcohol while it's still warm (not hot) keeps the quartz clear.

How much water does it take?
Fill until the showerhead slits are just under the surface, usually a bit over an inch. More than that and water climbs the neck.
Is a showerhead perc hard to clean?
A little more than a plain downstem. Soak with alcohol and coarse salt for ten minutes, shake, and the slits clear out.
