Fully clear pipes look great for about a week. Fully colored ones hide everything, including how dirty the stem is. This spoon splits the difference.

The head is solid, opaque color in two tones, so the bowl area stays good-looking (even after a lot of use). Below it, the stem is clear glass with thin blue lines looping back and forth, plus a band of brighter linework right at the neck. We like it because it's easy to read: color where it helps, clear where you want to see.

Details Worth Knowing on This Two-Tone Spoon

A real two-tone head. The head is built from two solid colors that meet partway down, rather than one color with a stripe. On the blue versions, a green collar sits where the head meets the neck.

Three raised dots. Small glass dots are fused to the side of the head. They give your thumb something to find without looking (handy in low light), and they add a little handmade character.

Looping linework. The blue lines in the stem aren't straight stripes. They zig back and forth in long loops (almost like a hand-drawn scribble), which looks busy without hiding the clear glass.

Color band at the neck. A short block of tighter linework sits just below the head in lavender, yellow or red, depending on the option. That band is what gives each color pairing its name.

Colors and Options

Blue & Lavender pairs a blue head with a soft lavender band at the neck. It's the calmest of the three (and our quiet favorite).

Blue & Yellow uses the same blue head with a bright yellow band, so it reads cheerful and high contrast.

Green & Red has a green head with blue dots and a bold red band below it.

Each pipe is hand-worked, so the line spacing, dot placement and where the two head colors meet vary a little piece to piece.

The 5" Two-Tone Head Linework Hand Pipe is a 5 inch borosilicate glass spoon with a built-in bowl and a side carb. It has a solid two-tone head with three raised dots and a clear stem with looping color linework. It comes in Blue & Lavender, Blue & Yellow or Green & Red and is made for dry herb.

How to Use It

Break your flower up and load the bowl loosely. Cover the carb with a finger, light the top of the pack, and draw slowly. Release the carb to finish the hit and clear the stem.

Because the head is opaque, you won't see the bowl from the side. Glance down into it between hits to check how much is left.

Pro Tip: Rest your thumb on the raised dots while you light. Our team uses them as a landmark so the carb finger lands in the same spot every time.

Who It's For

Daily smokers: The solid head keeps its looks between cleanings, and the clear stem tells you when it's time.

Linework fans: You like thin, hand-pulled lines more than heavy frit.

Anyone trading up from 4 inches: An extra inch of stem gives you a cooler pull and a better grip.

Worth Noting: The solid head means you can't see the pack from the side, so you'll check the bowl from above. A hand pipe also has no water, so hits run warmer than a bubbler.

Care and Cleaning

We knock out the ash after each bowl. For a full clean, our go-to is 91% isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt in a zip bag. Shake, let it soak a few minutes, rinse with warm water and let it air dry.

The head and the linework are both solid glass, so they won't fade or wash off.

Warning: Always let the pipe cool before it gets wet. Hot glass under cold water can crack, and the thick head holds heat longer than the stem. No dishwasher.

Common Questions

What are the bumps on the side of the head?
Those are three small raised glass dots fused to the side of the head. They give your thumb a landmark while you light and add a handmade look. On Green & Red they're blue, which makes them stand out against the green head.
What do the two color names mean?
The first color is the head and the second is the band of linework at the neck. Blue & Lavender has a blue head with a lavender band, Blue & Yellow has a yellow band, and Green & Red pairs a green head with a red band.
Does the solid head hide resin?
Yes, the opaque two-tone head hides resin around the bowl much better than clear glass. The clear stem still shows buildup, which helps you know when to clean. It's a good middle ground if you don't want to soak your pipe every few days.
How long is this linework pipe?
This pipe is 5 inches long from mouthpiece to the back of the head. That's a full-size spoon that still slips into a jacket pocket or a bag. It's a step up from a 4 inch pocket spoon and still much smaller than a bubbler.
Will the linework wear off over time?
No, the lines are colored glass pulled into the borosilicate while it's hot. They're part of the pipe, so scrubbing, alcohol soaks and salt won't touch them. The only thing that dulls them is resin, and a cleaning brings them right back.
Is this a good pipe for every day?
Yes, a 5 inch spoon with a side carb and a solid head is a good daily pipe. The head stays nice-looking between cleans, and the size is easy to hold. We'd pair it with a grinder and a bottle of cleaner for regular use.
Can I return it if it isn't what I expected?
We offer 30-day returns on unused items in original packaging. Since every pipe is hand-worked, small differences in line spacing and dot placement are normal. If something looks off, reach out through our contact page before you send anything back.
