The 5" Frit Flat Head Hand Pipe is a 5 inch borosilicate pipe with a wide, flat bowl head, a pink accent ring around the bowl and frit color through the body.
Round spoon heads are everywhere. This one goes flat and wide, with a pink ring framing the bowl like a target, and it makes a regular pipe look a lot more intentional.
The rest of the build is all about frit. Pick Confetti and you get clear glass packed with multicolor flecks from front to back. Pick Red & Blue and you get a solid red head over a deep blue frit body. Both have two small pink nubs on the sides of the head. We think it's one of the best-looking 5 inch pipes we've carried.
Easy to aim. The flat, wide head gives you a level target for your lighter. Less fumbling, more even burns.
Pink accent bowl. A ring of pink glass around the bowl opening ties both color options together and makes the bowl easy to spot.
Side nubs. Two small pink bumps on the head add color, help keep the pipe from rolling and give your fingers a rest point.
Frit, not paint. All the color is glass fused into glass (it won't flake, peel or wash off).
Confetti is clear borosilicate stuffed with red, yellow, blue, green and white frit flecks. It's busy in the best way.
Red & Blue pairs a bright red head with a blue frit body for a bold two-color look.
Each pipe is hand-worked, so the frit spread and nub placement vary a little from piece to piece.

The 5" Frit Flat Head Hand Pipe is a 5 inch borosilicate glass pipe with a wide, flat bowl head, a pink accent ring around the bowl and two pink nubs on the head. It has a side carb and comes in Confetti or Red & Blue frit.
Pack the bowl loosely (we like a medium grind), cover the side carb and light the top of the bowl. Draw slowly, then lift off the carb to clear the tube.
Pro Tip: Use the pink ring as your guide. Keep the flame inside it and you'll avoid scorching the frit around the bowl (soot on the head is the first thing people notice).
Frit fans: You want color in every inch of the glass. Same here, and our team's pick is Confetti.
Lighter-shy smokers: The flat, level head makes lighting easier to aim.
Collectors of odd shapes: A flat head spoon stands out on any shelf of round ones.
Worth Noting: The wide head and nubs make it bulkier than a slim spoon, so it's not the best fit for a tight jeans pocket.
We tap out ash after each bowl and soak the pipe in 91% isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt when the draw starts to tighten. Rinse with warm water and let it dry (we leave ours bowl-down on a towel).
Warning: Let the pipe cool completely before cleaning. Hot glass under cold water can crack, and the nubs hold heat longer than the thin parts. Never put it in the dishwasher.
