The 4" Fume Color Flower Maria Hand Pipe is a fumed borosilicate spoon with color lines down the body, a flower pattern on the head and a maria ring at the neck. It's a pocket-size pipe for dry herb.
Fumed glass is the rare pipe that looks better after a month than it did on day one. Silver and gold vapor gets fused into the glass in the flame, and as resin builds up behind it, the tint slowly shifts. A clean pipe reads pale gold. A well-used one turns deeper and warmer.
On this 4 inch spoon, the fume sits under bold color lines that run the full length of the body and open into a flower pattern around the bowl. Our team liked it because it gives you a little heady glass at a pocket-pipe size.
A flower on top. Look down into the bowl and the lines spread into petals around the rim. It's the detail people notice when you pass it.
The maria ring. A raised glass collar sits where the head meets the body. It gives your fingers a stop, and it adds a bit of thickness at a spot that takes knocks.
Lines that stay put. The color is worked into the glass, so it won't peel or fade when you clean it.
Orange lines look warm and sunny over the gold fume.
Blue is the coolest contrast of the set, with pale blue lines against the yellow tint.
Yellow is the most low-key pick, tone on tone with the fume. We'd call it the sleeper of the set.
Red gives the strongest contrast and the boldest flower on the head.
Black pairs dark lines with hints of blue at the bowl (our favorite once the fume darkens).
Each pipe is hand-worked, so line spacing and petal shape vary a little piece to piece.

This is a 4 inch fumed borosilicate glass spoon pipe with a built-in bowl and a side carb. Color lines run from the flower-pattern head to the mouthpiece, and a maria ring sits at the neck. You can pick Orange, Blue, Yellow, Red or Black lines. It's made for dry herb.
Grind your flower, pack the bowl without pressing hard, and cover the carb with your thumb while you light and pull. Release the carb at the end to clear the chamber.
Pro Tip: Want the fume to show color faster? Don't scrub it after every bowl. A light film of resin is what brings out the shift (just clean it before the draw gets tight).
Glass curious: You want to see fume in action before you commit to a heady piece.
Daily pocket smokers: Four inches rides easily in a jacket pocket (or a glasses case).
Gift givers: The flower head makes it a fun pick for a friend who likes color.
Worth Noting: This is a small, dry pipe. The bowl suits one person, and the hits run warmer than anything with water.
We soak ours in 91% isopropyl alcohol with a little coarse salt, shake, then rinse with warm water. A full clean brings the glass back to pale gold, and the color shift starts over.
Warning: Let the pipe cool before you clean it. Hot glass can crack under cold water, and the dishwasher is never a good idea.
Keep a few cleaning supplies on hand so you can reset the fume when you want, grab a grinder for an even pack, and browse more hand pipes or our travel-friendly picks.
