Cleaning and Upkeep

Knock the ash out while it is warm, then rinse. A weekly soak in isopropyl alcohol with coarse salt keeps the airway open and the lip bright. Shake it, let it sit, rinse thoroughly, and dry it fully before you pack it again.

Wipe the horn and the outside with a soft cloth. Solid glass does not hold residue, but it does hold fingerprints, and a hazy bowl looks worse than a dirty one.

Warning: Do not hold the horn and force the bowl into a joint. The handle gives you more torque than your fingers alone would, and ground glass joints chip and crack under exactly that kind of pressure. Seat it gently and stop when it feels snug.
