Somebody in our shop calls this the double flower, because it is a flower bowl shaped like an actual flower. The rim is worked into petals, the body runs 2.5 inches, and the joint is a 14mm. It is a nice-looking piece that still does the plain job of holding ground material over a hole.

Cleaning and care

Our routine is isopropyl with coarse salt, sealed, shaken and rinsed warm. Brush the petal edges with something soft while the piece is wet. Clear the hole with a pipe cleaner, then dry it inverted so nothing pools inside the bowl overnight.

Warning: Do not subject this bowl to sudden heat changes. Boiling water on cool glass, or a cold rinse on a warm bowl, causes thermal shock, and shaped rims have uneven wall thickness that makes cracking more likely rather than less.
