Fill the side-car chamber until the water just covers the perc slits, usually around 1-1.5 oz. Too much water will splash up the side-car neck; too little and you lose the matrix diffusion. Hold the attachment level when filling.
Is the glass thicker than the stock Peak top?
Yes, noticeably. Monark uses heady-grade borosilicate, which is roughly 30-40% thicker at the chamber walls than the stock Peak glass. It still chips if you drop it on tile, but it shrugs off the kind of bumps that crack the stock top.
Can I use this with concentrates and herb both?
