A quartz banger is where the dab actually happens, so the quality of the quartz decides how your concentrate tastes and how much of it you waste. Our quartz bangers are cut from thick-bottom quartz that holds heat evenly, which is what lets you run the low temperatures that protect terpenes. Whether you are replacing a cracked banger, upgrading from a titanium nail, or building a rig from scratch, you will find the joint size and style you need here.
The two numbers that matter are joint size and joint angle. Most rigs use a 14mm or 18mm joint at either a 90 degree or 45 degree angle. Match the banger to your rig: a 14mm joint is roughly the width of a pencil, an 18mm joint is noticeably wider. We carry both sizes in male and female fittings, plus adapters if your rig and banger do not match.
A flat-bottom or thermal bucket spreads heat across more surface area, which is forgiving for low-temp dabs. A terp slurper pairs with marbles and pearls for fast vaporization of small amounts. A standard round-bottom bucket is the all-rounder that works with any carb cap. Add a directional cap and a set of pearls and you control airflow over the whole dab.
Heat retention is the difference between a harsh, wasteful hit and a clean, flavorful one. Thicker quartz cools more slowly, giving you a wider window to drop your concentrate at the right temperature. If you are dialing in your timing, our dab temperature guide covers the cold-start method and the ranges that protect flavor. Pair your banger with the right dab tool to load cleanly every time.
Every dab rig we ship comes with a free quartz banger, so a complete setup already has you covered. The bangers in this collection are for replacements, upgrades, and keeping a spare on the shelf. Browse the full dab rig collection if you need the rig too, and the dab accessories collection for caps, tools, and pearls.
Match the joint size and gender of your rig. Most rigs are 14mm or 18mm. If your rig joint is male, you need a female banger, and the reverse. When in doubt, measure the joint or use an adapter.
Quartz gives cleaner flavor because it is inert and does not add any taste, and it heats and cools in a way that suits low-temp dabbing. Titanium is more durable, but many flavor chasers prefer quartz for taste.
Heat the new banger until it glows, let it cool, then do one or two small low-temp dabs and wipe with a cotton swab. That clears any manufacturing residue before your first real session.
Swab the bucket with a cotton tip while it is still warm after each dab. The reclaim wipes away before it hardens, and the quartz stays clear for the next session.
