Care and Maintenance

Does aluminum grind better than aluminum?
Aluminum is lighter and more common. Zinc alloy is heavier but the teeth typically stay sharper longer. For daily use, either works; zinc is slightly more durable.
Why no kief screen?
At 3-piece size, the grinder is compact — adding a screen and collection chamber makes it a 4-piece, about twice as tall. If kief collection matters to you, step up to our 4-piece options.
How long will it last?
With regular use and occasional cleaning, years. The magnetic lid is the most likely part to weaken over time. Teeth stay sharp on aluminum for a long time if you avoid grinding stems or seeds.
