What Makes a Good Bong

For everyday use, 5mm is a solid sweet spot between durability and weight. If you are clumsy or share your pieces with friends, go thicker.

Percolation is the other big factor. A basic downstem diffuser does the job for casual smokers. If you want the smoothest possible hit, look for bongs with built-in tree percs, matrix percs, or honeycomb discs. More percolation means smoother smoke, but also slightly more drag and more cleaning.

Ice Catchers and Extras
